A new highway alignment <br />Military Engineers — Past <br />and relocation of S.R. 89 / S.R. 28 intersection out of downtown Tahoe City <br />Director <br />created the opportunity to redevelop the western portion of the community and <br />American Public Works <br />revitalize the business core. Transportation elements of the project included <br />Association <br />Complete Streets Conversion of existing highway to local roadway; new <br />bridge on new alignment and replacement of existing Fanny Bridge; three <br />Construction <br />roundabouts to alleviate traffic congestion through corridor; and pedestrian and <br />Management Association <br />bike facilities. Community elements included new commercial uses, downtown <br />of America <br />parking expansion, and coordination with new community facilities, including <br />Structural Engineers <br />re -use of fire station and arts building. Mr. Nygaard performed planning and <br />Association of CA <br />layout for community and business elements, design reviews for all aspects, <br />public outreach, business coordination, and construction oversight. In addition, <br />American Council of <br />as the lead funding organization (Implementing Agency), Mr. Nygaard <br />Engineering Companies <br />maintained budget controls and federal and state agency coordination for <br />— CA <br />multiple grants. <br />AVAILABILITY <br />20% <br />Club Center Drive Bridge Over East Main Drain Canal <br />CITY OF SACRAMENTO <br />Project Engineer and Structures Representative responsible for management <br />activities including project scheduling, cost control, assigning tasks to <br />personnel, client liaison, and coordination of subconsultant work. Design <br />activities included: preliminary planning studies, field investigations, final design <br />and detailing, specifications, estimates, quality control, coordination with local, <br />state, and federal agencies, construction support and site investigations. <br />East Area Specific Plan - Structures <br />CITY OF FOLSOM I FOLSOM, CA <br />Project Engineer responsible for a variety of structures for the development <br />of new specific plan. Structures included retaining walls, sound walls, <br />underground sewer and stormwater structures, including pump stations, drop <br />inlets, and pig vaults, box culverts, and streetlight and signal foundations. <br />V 5 Larger structures included entry feature structures and a 5-tiered MSE <br />retaining wall for a park. <br />
