TAIT & Associates, Inc. <br />On -Call Water Resources Engineering Services <br />sidewalk to create pedestrian linkage to the PV Nature Preserve entrance. These improvements are <br />constructed along Crenshaw Boulevard/Burma Road, between Park Place and Burrell Lane. <br />Vincent Street Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation, Redondo Beach, CA <br />Project engineer for the design, preparation of the civil plans and construction management for the <br />building of an approximate 745 LF parallel sewer system near the Vincent Street Park and surrounding <br />neighborhoods. <br />Phase 2 Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation, City of La Mirada, CA <br />Project engineer for roadway improvements, street resurfacing and appurtenant infrastructure repairs. <br />Provided PS&E as required, for bidding and construction of the proposed improvements. The intent of <br />this project was to renovate the roadway pavement and hardscape leaving the neighborhood with a like <br />new appearance. APP's initial recommendation was to mill 0.5" of the existing pavement (avoiding <br />impacting the existing macadam), construct 2" of new pavement for much of the roadway, remove 4" of <br />the outside six feet of A.C./macadam, and construct 4" of new A.C. pavement and resulted in significant <br />cost savings for the City relative to the approach they used in previous years. <br />Firestone Boulevard Median Project, Downey, CA <br />Project engineer for raised median islands, entry monument sign, street rehabilitation and water <br />facilities improvements on Firestone Boulevard between Old River School Road and West City Limits. <br />Work includes preparation of traffic study, complete plans, technical specifications and estimate (PS&E) <br />for the proposed improvements, providing the bidding document, suitable for bidding and award of a <br />formal unit price public works construction contract, and construction support. <br />Lincoln Avenue Widening, Anaheim, CA <br />Performed hydrology and hydraulic calculations as well as catch basin sizing due to the moving of <br />existing catch basins in Lincoln Avenue. <br />Brookshire Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation, Downey, CA <br />Served as project engineer responsible for assistingthe project engineer on the road rehabilitation <br />project for the City of Downey, CA. The project included rehabilitation of the street to a new centerline <br />profile while utilizing the existing curb and gutter location and elevation. <br />Sidewalk Evaluation and Analysis, Santa Fe Springs, CA <br />Served as project engineer responsible for assisting the project team and the City of Santa Fe Springs by <br />analyzing sidewalk inspection data, developing a representative unit price cost estimate for repairs, <br />preparation of a summary report and incorporation of the evaluation into the City's existing GIS system. <br />Richmond Street Arterial Improvements, El Segundo, CA <br />Project engineer responsible for providing engineering services for Richmond Street arterial <br />improvements located between El Segundo Blvd. and Holly Ave. within the downtown area for 1,600 <br />lineal feet with 60 feet of street and sidewalk width. Design work includes street, sidewalk, parking, <br />survey, traffic and landscape improvements. <br />TAIT Appendix Page 130 <br />
