He has in depth knowledge of jurisdictional <br />compliance requirements for local agencies including cities, counties, fire <br />departments and planning departments as well as multiple state and federal <br />agencies. In addition, Mr. Boyer has extensive knowledge of wood, steel frame <br />and concrete masonry buildings, special inspection requirements, approved <br />fabricator requirements and has the ability to work with project stakeholders to <br />ensure the successful delivery of code compliant projects. <br />Project Experience <br />Alamitos Energy Center <br />CALIFORNIA ENERGY COMMISSION/AES <br />Lead Onsite Inspector, provides onsite inspection and oversight for this project <br />which includes the provision of DCBO duties performed on behalf of the <br />California Energy Commission. The project scope includes the demolition of <br />existing above and below ground structures, piping, and construction of a 640 <br />MW natural gas fired combined cycle air cooled electrical generating facility in <br />Long Beach. <br />AVAILABILITY Inland Empire Energy Center <br />40% CALIFORNIA ENERGY COMMISSION/CALPINE <br />Chief Site Inspector for the 810 MW project which consisted of the construction <br />of two GE S107H combined cycle systems (H System). The project connected <br />an onsite switchyard to existing Southern California Edison Valley substation <br />located approximately one mile east of the project site via a new 500 kV <br />transmission line. The project also included the construction of a new 18 inch, <br />4.7 mile pipeline for the disposal of nonreclaimable wastewater. <br />Code Compliance Inspections <br />OAK VALLEY UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />Performed inspections for code compliance inspections for the Oak Valley <br />Union School District. The structures inspected were new well installations <br />that included piping, piping support, new electrical service, transformers, <br />chlorine injection, and branch circuits. A new water treatment building was also <br />included in the project scope. Inspections included foundation of a new wood <br />framed treatment building and also included full electrical inspections of the <br />meter, transformer and new branch circuits including panels. <br />Railyard Redevelopment Project <br />CITY OFTRUCKEE I TRUCKEE, CA <br />Served as Inspector for the Union Pacific Railroad Redevelopment Project in <br />the Town of Truckee, California. The project consisted of the construction of <br />a maintenance facility, wood framed office building, prefabricated metal shop <br />building, a detached prefabricated metal storage building, and related site work. <br />The buildings included new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection <br />V 5 systems. Compliance with the 2016 California Building Codes and all applicable <br />laws, ordinances, regulations, and standards (LORS) was verified. <br />
