Long Pham, PE I SPEC Services, Inc. <br />Electrical/Controls <br />Long Pham has more than 25 years of experience in control systems/ <br />SERVICES <br />electrical engineering and engineering management. His experience <br />includes working for various municipal agencies including Valley County <br />Water District, Orange County Sanitation District, Eastern Municipal <br />Water District, and various companies in the petrochemical industry. <br />His experience includes engineering service estimating, planning, and <br />REGISTRATIONS <br />conceptual and detailed design of projects for refineries, petroleum <br />Electrical Engineer/CA <br />terminals, pumps stations, and gas compressor stations. <br />In addition to leading a number of projects, Mr. Pham is Electrical <br />Control Systems <br />and Control Systems Department Manager for SPEC, responsible for <br />Engineer/CA <br />overseeing a group of 16 engineers and designers. His responsibilities <br />EDUCATION <br />include technical quality control for development and staffing of <br />the department, engineering standards and procedures, technical <br />MS/Electrical Engineering/ <br />performance, quality assurance and control, and successful execution of <br />California State University, <br />projects within budget and schedule requirements. <br />Long Beach <br />BS/Electrical Engineering <br />Project Experience <br />(magna cum laude)/ <br />Orange County Sanitation District, Plant 1 Trickling Filter <br />California State University, <br />Replacement, Fountain Valley, CA: Principal Electrical Engineer for <br />Long Beach <br />the electrical and controls component. The project included preliminary <br />development of design memoranda to set the scope of work, followed <br />by detailed design of new power distribution and standby systems and <br />automation, including controls interface with the existing plant SCADA <br />systems. A new pump station with VFD pumps, trickling filters, under - <br />drain system ventilation blowers and trickling filter arms were also <br />included in the project. The system is tied into the plant's fiber-optic <br />SCADA network for complete unattended automation. <br />Orange County Sanitation District, Plant 1, New Secondary <br />Activated Sludge Facility, Fountain Valley, CA: Principal Control <br />Systems Engineer for the $189 million Plant 1, New Secondary Activated <br />Sludge Facility included a new operations building and refurbishment <br />of existing power buildings. New 480V MCCs and switchgear and 15kV <br />electrical power distribution and SCADA control systems integrated with <br />the existing plant support a completely new facility to bring the District to <br />full secondary treatment. <br />Eastern Municipal Water District, Pala Lift Station, Perris, CA: <br />Project Manager providing electrical and control system design and <br />engineering to replace the electrical switchgear, transfer switch, motor <br />control center and control panel. The lift station included four 200-hp <br />pumps that are controlled by variable frequency drives. Developed <br />construction work sequence to minimize downtime and maintain pump <br />station in operation at all time. <br />Well 29 Rehabilitation, City of Santa Ana, CA: Project Manager for <br />providing electrical and control system design and engineering to replace <br />the electrical and control systems for Well No. 29. <br />City of Santa Ana I Fl - - RFP No. 19-100 PSOMAS <br />
