Adopt a plan for the allocation and implementation of $535,000 in federal and state funding to <br />respond to the coronavirus ("COVID-19") pandemic including $360,000 in 25% Dislocated <br />Worker funds and an estimated $175,000 in COVID-19 National Dislocated Worker Grant, <br />Employment Recovery funds. <br />2. Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing 25% Dislocated Worker grant funds from the <br />State of California, Employment Development Department to provide support services to <br />underserved COVID-19 impacted individuals in the amount of $360,000 in revenue account <br />(no. 12318002-52001) and appropriating same to expenditure account (no. 12318761-69144). <br />3. Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing National Dislocated Worker Grant, <br />Employment Recovery funds from the State of California, Employment Development <br />Department to provide re-employment and training services to COVID-19 impacted individuals <br />in an amount not to exceed $175,000 in revenue account (no. 12318002-52001) and <br />appropriating same to expenditure account (nos. 12318762-various). <br />4. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager to enter into negotiations, <br />execute agreements, and approve any other required actions necessary with various service <br />providers, contractors, and subrecipients, who will implement the WIOA COVID-19 Response <br />Funding Plan, subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney. <br />20A-1 <br />
