APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY SHERIFF'S <br />DEPARTMENT FOR HELICOPTER SERVICES FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT - <br />TO -EXCEED $1,468,144 (GENERAL FUND) — Police Department <br />MOTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute a three-year agreement with <br />the Orange County Sheriff's Department for helicopter services, for the period of <br />July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023, for a total amount not to exceed $1,468,144, <br />subject to non -substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney. The City Council also authorizes the City Manager to execute the <br />subsequent amendments in year two (July 1, 2021-June 30, 2022) and year <br />three (July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023) for the contract amount of the first year of this <br />agreement, $443,548, plus up to ten percent. The three-year agreement not to <br />exceed amount is $1,468,144.
