in grant revenue from the State of California and appropriate $1,640,928 into <br />the corresponding expenditure account (Parks, Recreation, and Community <br />Services Agency Capital Grant Fund) for the construction of a new park at <br />Raitt Street and Myrtle Street. <br />Clerk of the Council, Daisy Gomez, reported out on correspondence received for <br />Item 20B regarding the renaming of the park. <br />Executive Director of Parks, Recreation, and Community Agency Lisa Rudloff <br />provided a brief status on the restroom park designs and security. <br />Councilmember Iglesias left the meeting at 8:05 p.m. <br />Councilmember Penaloza motioned and Councilmember Sarmiento seconded <br />with comment regarding the potential name choices for the future park located at <br />Standard and McFadden <br />Motion to Approve 1. Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five <br />affirmative votes). APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2020-175 - <br />Recognizing $3,600,000 in grant revenue from the State of California, record <br />$400,000 in acquisition and development funds from District 3 that was received <br />in a previous year and appropriate $4,000,000 into the corresponding <br />expenditure accounts (Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Agency <br />Capital Grant Fund and Acquisition & Development Fund -District 3) for the <br />construction of a new park at Standard Avenue and McFadden Avenue. <br />2. Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative votes). <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2020-175 - Recognizing $1,640,928 in <br />grant revenue from the State of California and appropriate $1,640,928 into the <br />corresponding expenditure account (Parks, Recreation, and Community Services <br />Agency Capital Grant Fund) for the construction of a new park at Raitt Street and <br />Myrtle Street.
