<br />25A. APPROVE FOURTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH NEC <br />CORPORATION OF AMERICA, INC. FOR TELEPHONE SYSTEM <br />MAINTENANCE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $79,497 (NON-GENERAL <br />FUND) – Information Technology Department <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute a fourth <br />amendment with NEC Corporation of America, Inc. to provide maintenance and <br />support services for the City’s telephone system for a six-month period, from July 1, <br />2020 through December 31, 2020, for an amount not to exceed $79,497, which is <br />composed of the sum of $72,270 for on-site labor and support services and a 10% <br />contingency of $7,227, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and City Attorney (Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />25B. APPROVE AN AGREEMENT WITH MEALS ON WHEELS ORANGE COUNTY <br />FOR SENIOR MEALS PROGRAMS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $90,290 <br />(GENERAL FUND) – Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute an <br />agreement with Meals on Wheels Orange County for Senior Meals Programs in an <br />amount not to exceed $90,290 for the term beginning July 1, 2020 through June 30, <br />2021, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City <br />Attorney (Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />25C. APPROVE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYNCHRONIZATION ON <br />MAIN STREET (PROJECT NO. 19-6949) (NON-GENERAL FUND) – Public Works <br />Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute a <br />cooperative agreement (12-790) with the State of California (Caltrans) identifying <br />each agency’s roles and responsibilities, including a project-sponsored payment of <br />$7,500 to Caltrans for the cost to implement traffic signal synchronization and <br />improvements at three Caltrans intersections along Main Street, for the term <br />beginning upon execution of the agreement and ending upon project completion <br />subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney <br />(Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />25D. APPROVE AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH ECONOMICS, INC., <br />FOR SOLID WASTE CONSULTANT SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br />EXCEED $64,964 (NON-GENERAL FUND) – Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager to amend the <br />agreement with EcoNomics, Inc., by exercising the one-year extension to extend <br />the term from June 30, 2020 to June 30, 2021; expanding the scope of work for Solid <br />Waste Consulting Services to include additional services that address legislative <br />mandates; and increasing the total compensation by $49,970, plus a 20% <br />contingency of $14,994, for a total increase of $64,964, and a total agreement amount <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 9 JUNE 16, 2020 <br /> <br /> <br />
