TASK 4: MOBILE APP MIGRATION AND PROMOTION <br />Objective: <br />Integrate the S4/KeepOCSafe mobile app and any other county or state emergency notification <br />systems (the state of CA is testing an earthquake early warning system that could be available <br />in 2021) into the ReadyOC app. Discuss what features need to be kept, and what is able to be <br />removed as times have changed and today's needs have evolved from when the app was <br />created. The final centralized mobile app can then be promoted as the single source for all <br />preparedness efforts for all of Orange County. <br />Task Description: <br />See sub -tasks for specifics. <br />Responsibilities: <br />See sub -tasks for specifics. <br />Completion Criteria: <br />This task is considered complete when all budgeted sub -tasks have been completed in their <br />respective entirety. <br />TASK 4-A: MOBILE APP MIGRATION AND PROMOTION (JULY—SEPT 2020) <br />Objective: <br />Integrate the S4 mobile app into the ReadyOC app. Discuss what features need to be kept, <br />and what is able to be removed as times have changed and today's needs have evolved from <br />when the app was created. <br />Task Description: <br />Handle all aspects of app development and management in accordance with S4 approved <br />processes and protocols. <br />a. App Content and Functionality — review what content should stay and what should be <br />removed when integrated into the ReadyOC app. Migration efforts will begin in task 4-A <br />b. App Management — coordinate and maintain third party development and hosting <br />service for the ReadyOC app (now encompassing the KeepOCSafe app) <br />c. App Closure — oversee the process of closing the existing KeepOCSafe app and <br />removing it from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. <br />d. Promotion — Promote downloads of the updated ReadyOC app and create messaging <br />explaining the new functionality of the S4 features <br />Responsibilities: <br />WBC shall: <br />a.
