Performing rehabilitative work on these streets will prevent accelerated
deterioration from weather, age, and heavy use.
The improvements include performing localized concrete pavement reconstruction, replacing
damaged concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, cross gutters, and curbs ramps, and sealing cracks
to prevent deterioration from water infiltration. Once completed, these improvements will enhance
the ride quality, surface drainage, and appearance at both locations. The project was programmed
for Fiscal Year 2019-20, and design was completed within that fiscal year. Because of COVID-19,
there was no opportunity to present the project to the City Council before June 30, 2020.
23A-1
