EXHIBIT A <br />Appendix <br />ATTACINT 1 ` <br />SCOPE aF oxx <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />EXTERIOR LIGHTING RETROFIT <br />OF THE SANTA ANA <br />REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION CENTER (SARTC) <br />RFP NO.14-0b8 <br />Introduction and Backuround: <br />The City of Santa Ana is seeking a firm to retrofit the exterior lighting of the Santa Ana Regional <br />Transportation Center (SARTC) facility. The facility consists of a parking garage and train <br />station. <br />The Energy Network, administered by Los Angeles County, was authorized by the California <br />Public Utilities Commission to help eligible public agencies in Southern California harness their <br />collective action, save energy, reduce operating costs and protect precious resources. To expand <br />public agency participation in utility energy efficiency programs, the Energy Network is offering <br />a range of free energy efficiency services to assist public agencies with accelerating energy <br />retrofits. <br />The services provided as Construction Management Support are defined on a separate <br />documented titled Roles and Responsibilities Matrix in Appendix B of Attachment 4. Please refer <br />to this document to better understand the relationship and role of The Energy Network Project <br />Manager and assigned Energy firm/consultant. <br />Descriation of Work: <br />The proposer shall have experience with installing lighting to retrofit the exterior lighting of the <br />SARTC facility. <br />Firm/Contractor Responsibilities: <br />- As needed, firm is responsible for finalizing and revising fixture model numbers. For example, <br />if the specified LED driver is not compatible with the on -site electrical service, the firm is <br />responsible for updating the model number and specifying the proper driver. Any fixture model <br />updates need to be approved by City, prior to equipment order. <br />- All work performed shall meet or exceed any applicable electrical code requirements. <br />- Any existing electrical code violations relevant to systems being retrofitted shall be brought to <br />the attention of the City once discovered. <br />- Clean up, removal of old equipment, and/or recycling fees are to be included in the Fee <br />Proposal submitted. <br />City of Santa Ana RFP 19-068 <br />Page Ai-1 <br />
