AAL <br />2. Participant must be actively engaged in program activities agreed upon. <br />3. Meet or appropriately communicate with the case manager at least two times a month. <br />4. The participant is not an employee of the employer site. <br />5. The training, even though it includes the actual operation of the facilities of the <br />employer, is essentially a training experience similar to a vocational school. <br />6. The participant is primarily the beneficiary of the experience. <br />7. Regular employees are not displaced, and the experience is closely <br />supervised/observed. <br />8. The "employer" that hosts the experience derives no immediate or significant <br />advantage <br />9. The participant is not necessarily entitled to a job at the conclusion of the experience; <br />and, <br />10. There is a mutual understanding between the participant and the host agency that the <br />participant is not entitled to wages for this time because the activity is essentially a <br />training experience. <br />11. Participates must have unexpired right to work documents and meet the requirements <br />as outlined in the Youth Program Eligibility and Application Policy. <br />12. The case manager will assess the participant and place them in a worksite that best fits <br />their experience and interests based on their developmental needs. <br />
