APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF REAL <br />PROPERTY AGREEMENT WITH IN-N-OUT BURGERS TO EXTEND THE TIME <br />FOR COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION BY AN ADDITIONAL 6 MONTHS – <br />Public Works Agency <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager to amend the <br />agreement with In-N-Out Burgers, a California corporation, for the sale of City- <br />owned property located at 827, 829, and 907 North Bristol Street, by extending the <br />construction completion deadline from 18 months to 24 months due to COVID-19 <br />concerns, subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and <br />City Attorney (Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />25G. APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH TAIT ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, INC., FOR <br />A FIVE YEAR TERM FOR UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK (UST) <br />MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND TESTING, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED <br />$600,000 (NON-GENERAL FUND) – Public Works Agency and Police Department <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Authorize the City Manager to execute an <br />agreement with TAIT Environmental Services, Inc., for maintenance, inspection <br />and testing of underground storage tanks, for period beginning September 1, 2020, <br />and expiring August 31, 2023. The agreement includes a provision for two one-year <br />renewal options exercisable by the City Manager and City Attorney, in an annual <br />amount of $100,000, with an additional annual contingency of $20,000, for an <br />amount not to exceed $120,000 annually. The total agreement amount is not to <br />exceed $600,000, including the renewal options, subject to non-substantive changes <br />approved by the City Manager and City Attorney (Agreement No. A-2020-XXX). <br /> <br /> <br />25H.
