Especially with the epidemic of <br />police brutality on our doorsteps. SAPD is one of the most violent police departments in the nation and you <br />want to arm them with MILITARY grade weapons. <br /> <br />If you go through with this the people will be upset and will let their displeasure know in the polls. Especially <br />with the increase funding in the SAPD after we ask to defund the police and allocate those resources that serve <br />the community. In Santa Ana people are face to face with eviction, hunger, and covid. So instead of using those <br />funds to fund the police fund more social programs that help.
