Clinical Laboratory of San Bernardino, Inc <br />Statement of Qualifications <br />Experience and Qualifications <br />Clinical Laboratory of San Bernardino, Inc., located at 21881 Barton Road in Grand Terrace, <br />California, has been providing quality analytical testing to cities and water districts throughout <br />Southern California since 1968. The laboratory began as a medical lab and soon expanded into the <br />area of water testing. The medical end of the business was dropped many years ago and the <br />laboratory continued, maintaining the Clinical Laboratory name, with a specialty of drinking and <br />wastewater analyses. <br />Clients of Clinical Laboratory include customers ranging in size from large cities and water districts <br />to small mobile home parks. The laboratory works closely with State and regulatory personnel to <br />keep abreast of current regulation changes to help our clients remain in compliance. <br />The California Water Quality Board (ELAP) has certified Clinical Laboratory of San Bernardino, <br />for complete bacteriological testing of potable water and wastewater. Our Microbiology Department <br />performs over 1500 coliform bacteria analyses per week and is one of the largest in the state. Our <br />ELAP certification allows us to do bacteriological analyses by 10 or 15 tube Multiple Tube <br />Fermentation, Colilert Presence/Absence, Quantitray, and Heterotrophic Plate Count <br />The staff of Clinical Laboratory includes chemists and analysts with educational degrees ranging <br />from Bachelor of Science to Master of Science. <br />Professional Personnel <br />Clinical Laboratory of San Bernardino, Inc. hires and retains professional staff, each of which hold <br />degrees pertaining to this industry, therefore we feel all of our staff are an integral part of serving <br />our clients. A brief description of each position we feel are the key(s) to successful completion of <br />analysis programs follows. <br />Laboratory Director <br />The laboratory director oversees the total operations of the laboratory, and assures all aspects of the <br />laboratory analysis, from sample receipt/log-in to final reporting, are both accurate and complete. <br />The laboratory director is also in -charge of all the technical and analytical aspects in the laboratory. <br />Efficient and effective planning capabilities are two important qualities in order to fulfill the <br />primary objectives of the laboratory. <br />Quality Control Manager/Safety Manager <br />Reviews and oversees the quality control and quality assurance aspects of analytical methodologies <br />being performed in the laboratory. Communicates with the laboratory director on QA/QC needs and <br />various factors for improving the efficiency in the laboratory. Quality Control is also in charge of <br />the safety operations. <br />Client Services Manager/Project Manager <br />Our client service manager and his team act as a liaison between the client and the laboratory. They <br />are responsible for all aspects of serving the client.
