Fee Proposal: <br />In addition to Section III.B.3 (Submittal Requirements: Fee Proposal) fee schedule shall be structured <br />to correspond to the above mentioned tasks as follows: <br />Task 1: Project Coordination <br />Task 2: Pre -Design <br />Task 3: Design Development <br />Task 4: Construction Documents <br />Task 5: a) Bid Advertisement; b) Construction Support; c) Record Drawings <br />Total Fee: <br />Fee schedule for each task should include an hourly breakdown that corresponds to the task total for <br />each project. <br />General Requirements: <br />• The Consultant has total responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the plans and <br />related designs, specifications and estimates prepared and shall check all such materials <br />accordingly. The plans will be reviewed by the City for conformity with the requirements of <br />the Agreement. Reviews by the city do NOT include detailed review or checking of design <br />or the accuracy with which such designs are depicted on the plans. The responsibility for <br />accuracy and completeness of such items remains solely that of Consultant. <br />• Consultant or its subconsultants shall not incorporate in the design any materials or <br />equipment of single or sole source origin without written approval of the City. <br />• The plans, specifications, estimates, calculations, and other documents furnished under the <br />Agreement shall be of a quality acceptable to the City and State. The criteria for acceptance <br />shall be a product of neat appearance, well organized, technically and grammatically correct, <br />checked, dated, and having the maker and checker identified. The minimum standard of <br />appearance, organization and content of the drawings shall be that of similar types produced <br />by the City Boiler Plate. The Consultant shall modify its work as necessary to meet the level <br />of acceptability defined by the criteria above. <br />The Consultant shall have a quality control plan in effect during the entire time work is <br />being performed under the Agreement. The Quality control plan shall establish a process <br />whereby plans are independently checked, corrected and back checked, and all job related <br />correspondence and memoranda dated and received by affected persons and then bound in <br />appropriate job files. <br />City Responsibilities <br />The City will be responsible for the following items: <br />• Providing electronic topographic site plans as shown in Appendix, Attachment 4 <br />• Furnishing electronic design file with City title block and title sheet (24" x 36") <br />• Providing standard City boilerplate specification <br />• Providing support with the coordination between City and County of Orange. <br />• Acting as a liaison with the appropriate decision making bodies, as necessary <br />• Providing standard invoice template <br />City of a 4W 20-026 <br />4C9A1-4 <br />
