Consultant Audit and Review Process: Prior to awarding the contract, the selected Consultant shall <br />be subject to an audit or review by Caltrans' Audits and Investigations (A&I), other state audit <br />organizations, or the federal government. The selected Consultant shall complete Exhibit 10-K — <br />Consultant Certification Contract Costs and Financial, in the Appendix of this RFP as Attachment <br />4. <br />Time is of the essence and work shall commence within 5 days of the Notice to Proceed for planned <br />underground utility locating services. <br />• The consultant shall be available to provide on -call services within 24-hours for unplanned utility <br />locating services. <br />City Responsibilities: <br />The City will provide information in its possession relevant to the preparation of the required <br />information in the RFP.
