Page 7 of 52 <br />This Agreement was selected from Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) No. BOR- DO - <br />20-F001 Water SMART Grants: Water and Energy Efficiency Grants for Fiscal Years 2020 and <br />2021. Recipient's proposal dated October 3, 2019 is incorporated by reference to this Agreement. <br />4. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE AND FUNDS AVAILABILITY <br />This Agreement becomes effective on the date shown in Block 13a of Page 1 of this agreement, <br />United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Assistance <br />Agreement. The Agreement shall remain in effect until the date shown in Block 8 of Page 1 of <br />this agreement, United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, <br />Assistance Agreement. The period of performance for this Agreement may only be modified <br />through written modification of the Agreement by a Reclamation Grants Officer. <br />No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made <br />available, in writing, to the Recipient by the Grants Officer. The total estimated amount of <br />Federal funding for this agreement is $1,200,000.00, of which the initial amount of Federal funds <br />available is limited to $1,199,000.00 as indicated by "this obligation" within Block 10 of Page 1 <br />of this agreement, United States of America, Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, <br />Assistance Agreement. <br />5. SCOPE OF WORT{ AND MILESTONES <br />Under this Agreement, the Recipient shall remove 33,315 manual read water meters and install <br />meters with Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) technologies. The installation will include <br />materials and equipment, a Meter Data Management System, leak detection, interactive web <br />portal installation, as well as pressure monitoring capabilities. <br />The AMl project will be installed in the City of Santa Ana. The Recipient shall include in its <br />records the locations of the meters installed under this Agreement. <br />After review of the methodology used to estimate water conservation savings, consideration of <br />supporting documentation provided by Recipient, and any adjustments made during the <br />evaluation of the Project, it was determined that these improvements are expected to result in <br />annual water savings of 1,409 acre-feet. <br />The milestones* for completing the Proiect are: <br />Milestone / Task /Activity <br />Planned <br />Start Date <br />Planned <br />Completion Date <br />Complete environmental and cultural compliance <br />Completed <br />Agreement No. R20AP00075 Agreement Template <br />(03/2019) <br />
