EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />EY�ZIIii-D[I70lriiliJC� C1 <br />Santa Ana CARES Child Care Grant <br />AUGUST 1, 2020 - DECEMBER 31, 2020 <br />The Santa Ana Child Care Payment Assistance program is designed to assist households within <br />the City of Santa Ana that have been affected by COVID-19. The funding, which is part of the <br />CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funds bill, will aid households impacted by COVID-19 that need <br />child care to stay on the.job or get back to work. Funding will be allocated in the form of grants, <br />on a first come first serve basis. <br />CONTRACTOR shall develop, implement and administer the Santa Ana CARES Child Care Grant <br />pursuant to this scope of work and the terms of this agreement. <br />I. Size of the grant: <br />The Santa Ana CARES Child Care Grants will provide up to $1000 per eligible Santa Ana <br />Household. The Grant is up to $100 per week, irrespective of the number of children in the <br />Household, up to a maximum total of$1000 per Household. Households will be limited <br />to one grant. Grant recipients must be able to provide a certified statement that funds <br />received were spent in accordance with program requirements through the program <br />application. <br />II. Households must have been affected by COVID-19: <br />The household must submit documentation that it is impacted by COVID-19 in one of the <br />following ways: <br />• Job loss as a result of COVID-19 (from the time period of March 1, 2020 through <br />present) <br />• Reduction in work hours leading to a decrease in household income. <br />• Is an essential worker and in need ofchildeare in order to keep working due to COVID- <br />19. <br />• Demonstrated need must be documented and verified as outlined in Exhibit A Section <br />VII. <br />IIL Eligibility Requirements: <br />Households must meet the following eligibility requirements: <br />• Must live in Santa Ana. <br />• Child(ren) must live in Household and be under the age of 13 <br />18 <br />
