ABC LICENSE APP. Wallace Davis, 540 North <br />SHOBEIRI, TONY Golden Circle Drive, Attorney <br />1222 E. FIRST for the applicant, addressed <br />REC'D & FILED Council with regard to an <br />ABC license application for <br />property at 1222 E. First St., and requested that the Police protest be <br />withdrawn. MOTION was made by Luxembourger, to withdraw the Police <br />protest if the applicant would agree to having no video games in the <br />establishment and limited liquor sales. Motion died for lack of a <br />second. <br />MOTION was made by Bricken, seconded by McGuigan, to receive and file <br />staff report on the following: <br />SHOBEIRI, Tony, 1222 E. First - Original Type 20 Off - <br />sale Beer & Wine. PROTEST: Police. (Agenda Item 5D) <br />AYES: Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, McGuigan <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Serrato CA 146 <br />ABC LICENSE APP. Following discussion, MOTION <br />GREENBERG, PAUL was made by Markel to receive <br />123 N. BROADWAY and file the staff report on the <br />PROTEST REMOVED ABC license application for <br />W/UUN 111UN5 "' property at 123 N. Broadway. <br />Motion died for lack of a <br />second. MOTION was made by Griset, seconded by McGuigan, to receive <br />and file the staff report and remove the Police protest providing the <br />applicant agreed to the following conditions on the license: <br />1) Sixty-five percent of gross sales must be for food <br />and non-alcoholic items; <br />2) Sales of alcoholic beverages are permitted between <br />7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. only; and <br />3) No video games are to be permitted on the premises. <br />(Agenda Item 5E) <br />AYES: Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, McGuigan <br />NOES: Acosta, Markel <br />ABSENT: Serrato CA 146 <br />ABC LICENSE APP. Joe O'Campo, 1108 East Fourth <br />O'CAMPO, JOE Street, addressed Council and <br />403 N. BUSH requested that the Police <br />CONT'D TO 11/1/82; protest be withdrawn on the ABC <br />STAFF INSTRUCTEr application for property at 403 <br />N. Bush St. MOTION was made <br />by Luxembourger, seconded by Griset, to withdraw the Police protest if <br />the applicant would agree to the following conditions: <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 337 OCTOBER 4, 1982 <br />
