Azerbaijan is
responsible for launching an unprovoked war on Artsakh - backed by Turkey and foreign jihadists - that
intentionally and deliberately targets civilians.

Left unchecked, Turkey and Azerbaijan (with a combined population of 100 million) will complete the work of
the Armenian Genocide, the systematic destruction of the world's first Christian nation, a proud modern
democracy of just three million people struggling to survive on the frontier of world freedom.

Over the last 3 weeks the Armenian community has been living a nightmare as they helplessly watched
Azerbaijan with the support of Turkey and the apparent use of Islamic State mercenaries launch full scale
attacks against the civilian population of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and the Republic of Armenia.

As a resident of Mission Viejo, I am here asking, no begging, for your support. I am Armenian. My family
immigrated from Lebanon to avoid war and conflict, and now my homeland is at war. My people are dying, and
I have to sit back and watch as American legislators and newscasters ignore the entire conflict. I am asking
you to be on the right side of history and speak up for ethic minorities like me, for Armenians all throughout the
diasporans and cover the war in Armenia.

Sincerely,
Arya Jemal

1
