It involved replacing and reconstructing an existing <br />sewer lift station in the City of Irvine to avoid conflict with proposed <br />development in the area. <br />Newport Bay Water WheeUrash Removal Project, Newport <br />Beach, CA, Project Manager <br />Michael managed preparation of an IS/MND to meet California <br />Environmental Quality Act requirements for this innovative project that <br />involves construction and operation of a trash removal system in the <br />California Coastal Zone of San Diego Creek/Upper Newport Bay. The <br />project would substantially reduce the volume of trash flowing into <br />Newport Bay and adjacent sensitive habitats/shoreline and benefit <br />biological resources, water quality, and aesthetics.
