Steve Cook <br />Steve's 25 years of combined experience as a registered <br />landscape architect, a licensed landscape contractor, a certified <br />RLA <br />water auditor, and a member of the Environmental Protection <br />Landscape Architecture and Irrigation <br />Agency's (EPA) Watersense Partnership Program, provide him a <br />broad base of valuable knowledge. His experience as a landscape <br />architect and a certified landscape water auditor provide him the <br />Education <br />knowledge necessary to design the most current environmentally <br />• BS, Agricultural Business Management <br />friendly and efficient irrigation delivery systems. As an EPA <br />Registrations/Certifications <br />Watersense Partner, he stays abreast of the regional, as well as <br />• Landscape Architect #4053, CA <br />local policies —enabling him the ability to foresee technological and <br />• Landscape Irrigation Auditor#82148, <br />societal trends, and allowing him the advantage of incorporating <br />Irrigation Association <br />relevant new irrigation elements or design techniques into current <br />• Landscape Contractor#C27-528894, CA <br />project designs accordingly. <br />Why select <br />San Diego Creek Channel Bike Trail Relocation, Irvine, CA <br />• Expert in community -customized <br />(Landscape Architect) <br />landscape designs <br />Steve managed the landscape improvement services for restoring <br />• Recently delivered award -winning <br />a 1.2-mile segment of the San Diego Creek Channel, which is <br />landscape project for an Orange County <br />currently owned and maintained by the City of Irvine. A Class I <br />bicycle and hiking trail borders the channel. The Landscaped areas <br />agency <br />that were to be affected were managed by various property owners/ <br />• Expert in new and efficient irrigation <br />districts. Steve's early coordination efforts with these stakeholders <br />delivery systems <br />allowed for a consensus on scope. As a result the first iteration of <br />this project gained acceptance and approval. <br />Redondo Beach Cycle Track, Redondo Beach, CA <br />(Landscape Architect Task Manager) <br />Steve developed plans for the bicycle friendly facilities along two <br />important roadways within Redondo Beach's Marina district, as <br />well as a welcome park at Redondo Beach's northern gateway <br />at Hermosa Beach. His team also provided the colored graphics <br />used at the stakeholder outreach meetings at which he presented <br />the project's landscape elements. Steve's experience with plants <br />that tolerate and even thrive in the coastal environments was <br />of vital importance as this project is located within some of the <br />harshest coastal influence.
