The Contractor shall provide all equipment and supplies necessary to perform all <br />Contractors' cleaning and sanitation functions, <br />c. After-hours: City will provide janitorial services for the Cafe dining area. <br />d. Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions, as directed by the City, or in the <br />absence of such direction, in accordance with sound industrial practices, to <br />safeguard and protect City property and adjacent property. Damages to properties <br />caned by Contractor's negligence shall be repaired at no cost (both labor and <br />material) to the City. <br />e. Contractor shall provide City a full report of damage to City property and/or <br />equipment by Contractor's employees. All damage reports shall be submitted to the <br />Jail Administrator within twenty-four (24) hours of occurrence. <br />E. UTILITIES/NETWORK <br />When the kitchen is not in use or when food preparation is at a minimum, Contractorwill assume <br />maximum utility/energy cost conservation by turning off or down fans, water, ovens, steam <br />equipment and other energy consuming items. The Contractor shall be responsible for turning <br />off all non -essential equipment when an area is not in use, <br />1. The City shall provide, at its own expense, all utilities necessary for the performance of <br />cafe operations. The City cannot guarantee and uninterrupted supply of water, electricity, <br />gas heat, air conditioning or telephone service. The City shall• however, be diligent in <br />restoring service following an Interruption. <br />2. A telephone line shall be provided without charge <br />3. Access to a networking framework shall be provided without charge. The Contractor <br />shall be responsible to provide, at its own expense, all computers, servers, switches, <br />software, internet service, and related peripherals and equipment as necessary to <br />effectively perform all duties contracted. City network responsibility is limited to <br />permitting access to and use of preexisting infrastructure such as service provider <br />boxes, IT closets, and existing wiring that reaches the kitchen office. Contractor will <br />install all their own equipment and establish their own internet service, City is not <br />requiring them to pull new cabling, <br />F, PROVISION OF LINENS AND UNIFORMS <br />Contractor shall be responsible for providing linens and uniforms for Contractor's staff use. <br />Contractor's personnel shall be required to wear identical uniforms that clearly distinguish them <br />as Cafe staff. <br />G, CAFE OPERATIONS <br />1. Minimum staffing hours of the Cafe shall be from 10:30 a.m, until 2:00 p.m., Monday <br />through Friday, excluding City holidays. Contractor shall adequately staff the Cafe to <br />provide service during these minimum hours of operation.
