Contractor shall be notified of any employees that are refused for employment within <br />the facility. The background investigation requirement shall also apply to employees <br />who begin at a later date. <br />c. Decisions of the Santa Ana Police Department are final and are not subject to <br />arbitration. Cost for background check shall be borne by the City. <br />2. FACILITY ENTRY <br />a. All Contractors' employees must enter the facility and check in at the Jail Facility <br />front desk. A current roster of employees with security clearance will be maintained <br />at the front desk. Each employee must show a valid, government issued picture <br />identification prior to entry. If an employee cannot produce proper identification or <br />their name is not on the security roster they shall be denied admission. <br />b. When an employee leaves the service of the Contractor, the Contractor shall notify <br />the office of the Chief of Police within 12 hours. <br />a Decisions of the Santa Ana Police Department are'final and are not subject to <br />arbitration. <br />3. EMPLOYEE CONDUCT <br />a. All Contractors' employees shall wear identical uniforms that clearly designate them <br />as employees of the Contractor at all times while within the facility. <br />b. All Contractors' employees shall properly wear their 'facility issued identification <br />badge at all times while in the facility. Facility issued identification badges shall be <br />returned to the front desk officer at the end of each employee work day. <br />c. Contractor's employees shall never bring alcoholic beverages or narcotics into the <br />facility. Persons that are under the influence of alcohol or narcotics shall be denied <br />admittance into the facility. <br />d. Contractor's employees shall attend Santa Ana Jail training deemed mandatory by <br />State or Federal regulations. The Contractor shall pay .employees for attending <br />these required courses, where applicable. <br />e. In the event of a disturbance within the facility, all Contractors' employees shall <br />immediately follow the directives of Police staff. <br />f. In the event of a dispute between Contractor's staff and Police staff regarding work <br />procedures, security measures, etc., the Santa Ana Police Department Property and <br />Facilities Manager shall have the final decision. <br />V.
