o Narrowed streets may include, but not be limited to, landscape <br />planters in parking lanes, raised medians, curb bulb-outs atintersections and mid-block, or a chicane (a slight bumptoward a travel lane that creates a shallow curve) causingvehicle movement to slow <br /> <br />· Roundabouts to improve traffic movement at key intersections, to <br />reduce collisions, and improve safety <br /> <br />One-way traffic movement to limit ingress into a neighborhood <br /> <br />5. And City Staff to request the Council take action to identify Downtown,Lacy, Logan, French Court and French Park as "Traffic-CalmedNeighborhoods" once all traffic mitigation and calming improvements areinstalled. <br /> <br />6. Tasks 1 through 5 become the sole responsibility of the One BroadwayPlaza developer, and shall be: <br />· Required as Conditions of Approval on the project <br />· Included in to the City's Development Agreement for the project for <br />the Neighborhoods <br />· Fully funded by the Developer through a CASH deposit <br /> <br />The Neighborhoods seek these necessary remedies due to the severe lack ofcurrent and planned traffic mitigation and calming measures denied them.Neighborhood representatives are available to meet with the City and theApplicant to begin discussions about the type and location of theaforementioned measures at the earliest possible convenience. <br /> <br />Thank you, <br />Jeff Dickman, French Park <br />714 240 0883 <br />
