<br />20B. APPROVE AN APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT AND AWARD A <br />CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO ALL CITIES ENGINEERING, INC. IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $2,563,351 FOR THE SAINT GERTRUDE AND GRAND AVENUE <br />WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT WITH AN ESTIMATED PROJECT <br />DELIVERY COST OF $3,332,355 (PROJECT NO. 15-6446) (NON-GENERAL <br />FUND) – Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br /> <br />1. Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires five affirmative votes). <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2021-048 – Recognizing $1,832,355 in <br />the Water Fund, Public Works Water Revenue, Prior Year Carry Forward <br />account, and appropriating the same amount into the Acquisition & Construction, <br />Water Utility Capital Projects, Water Capital Project expenditure account. <br /> <br />2. Approve an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Capital Improvement <br />Program to include $937,355 in construction funds for the St. Gertrude and <br />Grand Avenue Water Main Replacement Project. <br /> <br />3. Award a construction contract to All Cities Engineering, Inc., the lowest <br />responsible bidder, in accordance with the base bid in the amount of <br />$2,563,351, for construction of Saint Gertrude and Grand Avenue Water <br />Main Replacement Project, for the term beginning November 17, 2020 and <br />ending upon project completion, and authorize the City Manager to execute <br />the contract subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City <br />Manager and the City Attorney. <br /> <br />4. Approve the Project Cost Analysis for a total estimated construction <br />delivery cost of $3,332,355, which includes $2,563,351 for the construction <br />contract, $384,504 for contract administration, inspection, and testing; and <br />a $384,500 project contingency for unanticipated or unforeseen work. <br /> <br /> <br />20C. APPROVE APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT ACCEPTING BUREAU OF <br />RECLAMATION WATERSMART GRANT FUNDS FOR THE ADVANCED METER <br />INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200,000 AND TO <br />APPROPRIATE PRIOR YEAR GRANT FUNDS OF $1,050,000 (NON-GENERAL <br />FUND) – Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve an appropriation adjustment. (Requires <br />five affirmative votes). <br /> <br />1. APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT NO. 2021-046 - Accepting Bureau of <br />Reclamation WaterSMART grant funds in the amount of $1,200,000 into the <br />Public Works Water Quality & Control Fund, Miscellaneous Revenue, Federal <br />Grant-Direct revenue account and appropriating the same amount into Reserve <br />Appropriation expenditure accounts for future year expenditures. <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 7 NOVEMBER 17, 2020 <br /> <br /> <br />
