7' ,; 4 <br />Is �_ <br />U <br />design up to code compliance. <br />WD will assist the City departments in obtaining <br />reviews and approvals from applicable public <br />agencies for design reviews, plan checks, and <br />permits. <br />VVD will assist the City in obtaining all required <br />permits, reports, and other information to bid the <br />project. The City will pay all permit fees. <br />WD will provide continued communication and <br />feedback with various City personnel throughout <br />the process to provide a cost-effective and <br />quality design that meets the needs of the client <br />department(s). <br />Post Design Services <br />At the City's sole discretion, WD will assist the City <br />Department(s) with the following services. <br />1. Bidding <br />a) Preparing bid documents and packages <br />b) Answering bidder's questions <br />c) Scheduling and attending pre -bid conferences <br />and job/site walks <br />d) Preparing bid addenda <br />e) Preparing bid analyses and reviewing and <br />responding to bidders' submittals, such as shop <br />drawings, product data, samples and proposed <br />equivalent products and materials. <br />2. Construction and Construction Management <br />a) Prepare "as -built" drawings, in current CAD <br />format, as required <br />b) Visit construction site as needed to monitor <br />quality of the work and resolve construction issues. <br />c) Assist engineer, consultant and inspector with <br />interpretation of the following: <br />• Analysis of change conditions <br />• Development of corrective actions <br />• Review of shop drawings and other submittals <br />• Review, negotiation and preparation of change <br />orders <br />d) Manage the construction phase and coordinate <br />construction meetings to ensure the project is <br />completed on time and within budget. <br />• Provide weekly estimates of percent of work <br />completed <br />• Approve vendor invoices for submittal to the <br />City. <br />Move Management Services <br />At the City's sole discretion, WD will assist the City <br />Department(s) with the following services. <br />• Survey all existing items to relocate. <br />• Meet with client and the client's furniture vendor <br />to verify the placement of all items for move. <br />• Third party/peer review of architectural plan(s). <br />• Prepare move plans to show numbering system <br />for ease of labeling boxes and items to move. <br />• Prepare "move in" sketches for mover use, <br />showing office and common area layouts. <br />• Coordinate with the City's Telecommunication <br />Services and instruct staff in preparing for the <br />move. <br />• Coordinate and closely supervise move labor. <br />• Be responsible for all post -move follow-up. <br />Special Services <br />• Complete the State of California ADA surveys. <br />• Provide value engineering services upon <br />request. <br />• Plans and specifications Cam± • omplete LEED Certification documentation <br />27V-11 upon request. 18 <br />
