BOA ARCHITECTURE <br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />AS -NEEDED ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES <br />New Fire Station #71, <br />Completed 2015 <br />Malibu - California <br />New Fire Station #83 <br />Rancho Pales Verdes <br />California <br />Client: LA County Fire Department; Completed: 2015, Construction Project Costs Varied <br />Project Architecture: Edward Lok Ng <br />Project Description: For the 40 projects BOA managed and designed, all were "on time" and "on budget". The <br />accuracy of our construction cost estimates, Quality Control, and response to potential problems were deemed <br />exceptional. BOA successfully managed and designed as many as 5 facilities projects concurrently. <br />From 1989 to present, BOA has completed approximately 40 projects, ranging from $20,000 to $4,000,000 in <br />construction cost. Although we designed 2 new Fire Stations, all other assignments were renovation/repair of <br />existing fire stations. BOA expedited all services from facilities programming, design conception, construction <br />documents, to construction administration. Projects ranged from new fire stations, facilities additions, <br />renovations, tenant improvements, HVAC upgrades, structural seismic evaluation, gender accommodations, and <br />parking lot/landscape upgrades, facilities expansions to accommodate fire apparatus, ADA Compliance <br />upgrades, feasibility assessment reports/studies, and roof repairs. <br />The following is a list of select fire station projects: <br />Projects Started in 2010; Completed 2015 <br />• New Fire Station #83 — 4000 sf facility with 2 apparatus bays <br />• Temporary Fire Station #83 — Renovation of Parks building for fire <br />station use <br />• New Fire Station #71 in Malibu — 4000 sf facility with 2 apparatus bays <br />and 6 dorms <br />• Fire Station #110 — Expansion of Apparatus bays, and offices, and <br />interior modernization <br />• Fire Station #56 — Added 2 new Apparatus garages <br />• Fire Station #187 — retrofit of entire exterior hardscape and parking lot <br />paving <br />• Fire Station #107 — 12 new dorm rooms <br />• Fire Station #44 — renovate 8 dorm room and restrooms for gender <br />accommodation <br />• Fire Station #70 — renovation entry lobby and offices, ADA <br />improvements <br />• Fire Station #66 — Septic Tank sewage pipe upgrades <br />• LA County Fire Dept.
