Appendix <br />ATTACHMENTI <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />WATER RESOURCES RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISITION SERVICES <br />RFP NO.: 20-091 <br />Introduction and Background: <br />The City of Santa Ana ("Santa Ana" or "City") is the county seat and the second most populous <br />city in Orange County, California, with over 343,000 residents. It is the 57`h most -populous city in <br />the United States. <br />Santa Ana is located in Southern California, adjacent to the Santa Ana River, about 10 miles away <br />from the California coast. Founded in 1869, the City is part of the Greater Los Angeles Area, the <br />second largest metropolitan area in the United States with almost 18 million residents in 2010. <br />The City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency (PWA) is soliciting proposals for Water Resources <br />Right of Way Acquisition Services. The City is looking for a multi -functional consultant/s to <br />advise the City and provide real property acquisition, appraisal and related services. <br />The Consultant/s shall adhere to professional standards, the Uniform Act, Caltrans Right of Way <br />Manual, FHWA requirements, and applicable laws and regulations. <br />This request for proposal (RFP) provides interested qualified firms with the information enabling <br />them to submit a Service Bid Proposal and the services described herein. <br />Description of Work: <br />On as needed basis, the selected firm/s shall provide the City with the following services as <br />described herein. <br />The selected Consultants will be expected to manage and control costs and resources, and <br />complete work in adherence to the agreed upon project schedule and terms. <br />The consultands shall be able to provide the following tasks and not limited to: property appraisal, <br />appraisal review, partial and full acquisition and relocation related functions, easements, <br />temporary construction easements, disposition and excess of properties, negotiate price, identify <br />and manage right of way needs, right of way engineering, development relocation plans and <br />relocation services according to Relocation Law, negotiation with property owners and tenants, <br />cost relocation analysis, right of way cost analysis, and related documentation preparation and <br />management to right of way acquisition. <br />City of Santa Ana RFP 20-091 <br />Page 1 <br />25D-13 <br />
