Professional Consultant/Vendor understands and agrees that the City of Santa Ana has the right <br />to withhold all information regarding this procurement, including but not limited to: <br />(1) the number of proposals received, <br />(2) competitive technical information, <br />(3) competing price information; and <br />(4) City of Santa Ana evaluation concerns regarding competing proposals, until after the <br />agreement is awarded. <br />Upon receipt of offerings by the City of Santa Ana, each responding Professional <br />Consultant/Vendor shall be presumed to be thoroughly familiar with all requirements of this <br />offering. The failure or omission to examine any form, instrument or document shall in no way <br />relieve professional consultants/vendors from any obligation with respect to its offering. <br />VII. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS & W-9 REQUIREMENTS <br />Upon recommendation of contract award, Contractor will be required to submit the following <br />documents with ten (10) days of City notification, unless otherwise specified in the solicitation: <br />Insurance - City requires that licenses, lessees, and vendors have an approved Certificate <br />of Insurance (not a declaration or policy) or proof of legal self-insurance on <br />file with the City for the issuance of a permit or contract. <br />W-9 - Current signed form W-9 (Taxpayer Identification Number & Certification) which <br />includes Contractor's legal business name(s). <br />Vlll. ADDENDA & UNDERSTANDING THE PROPOSAL <br />Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted via PlanetBids, by 5:00 P.M. (PST) on <br />October 8, 2020. Responses to all questions will be posted on PlanetBids, no later than the <br />date and time shown at the schedule of key RFP dates above. All prospective Proposers are <br />advised to visit PlanetBids on a regular basis as the responses may be posted earlier than the <br />date above. <br />It is the responsibility of each Proposer to inquire about any criteria, condition, term, provision, <br />or requirement of the RFP that the Proposer does not understand. Responses to inquiries, if <br />they significantly change or clarify the RFP requirements or any aspect of the procurement <br />process, will be forwarded by addenda to all Proposers. The City will not be bound by any oral <br />responses to inquiries. By submitting bid proposals, Proposers assert that they have fully read <br />the RFP and any addenda issued by the City, the proposed Contract and any other Contract <br />Documents, and affirm that the terms and conditions stated therein are full understood and are <br />acceptable to the Proposer. Each Proposer accepts the terms and conditions of the Contract <br />Documents and indicates their ability and willingness to perform the requested services under <br />such terms and conditions.
