You should read your policy and review your Declarations page for complete information on the coverages you are provided. This Notice provides information concerning possible impact on your insurance coverage due to directives issued by the United States. Please read this Notice carefully. The Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") of the U.S. Department of the Treasury administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions based on U.S. foreign policy and national security goals against targeted foreign countries and regimes, terrorists, international narcotics traffickers, those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and other threats to the national security, foreign policy or economy of the United States. OFAC acts under Presidential national emergency powers, as well as authority granted by specific legislation, to impose controls on transactions and freeze assets under U.S. jurisdiction. OFAC publishes a list of individuals and companies owned or controlled by, or acting for or on behalf of, targeted countries. It also lists individuals, groups, and entities, such as terrorists and narcotics traffickers designated under programs that are not country -specific. Collectively, such individuals and companies are called "Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons" or "SDNs". Their assets are blocked and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from dealing with them. This list can be located on OFAC's web site at — http//www.treas.gov/ofac. In accordance with OFAC regulations, if it is determined that you or any other insured, or any person or entity claiming the benefits of this insurance has violated U.S. sanctions law or is an SDN, as identified by OFAC, the policy is a blocked contract and all dealings with it must involve OFAC. When an insurance policy is considered to be such a blocked or frozen contract, no payments nor premium refunds may be made without authorization from OFAC.
