Completion: March 2017; Value: $14 <br />million) —Mr. Brunenieks provided civil/mechanical field inspection services <br />for the reconstruction of the aeration system; replacement of the aged <br />switchgear, motor control center, and power distribution system; replacement <br />of the engine driven blower system; refurbishment of mechanical and <br />structural elements of the Plant 1 secondary sedimentation basins; and repair <br />to the structural deficiencies throughout the plant basins. <br />Civil/Mechanical Inspector, Regional Treatment Plant Cogeneration and <br />Switchgear Upgrades Project; Laguna Niguel, CA; South Orange County <br />Wastewater Authority (Est. Completion: July 2017; Value: $8.9 million) — <br />Mr. Brunenieks provided civil/mechanical field inspection services for the <br />upgrade to the cogeneration and switchgear systems for the RTP. The scope <br />of work included the following: construction of a new masonry building to the <br />west of the Energy Building to house the new switchgear; removal of one of <br />the existing 400 kW engine generator units; removal of power and control <br />wiring from the remaining two 400 kW engine generator sets; installation of a <br />new 800 kW engine generator system, new boiler system, and new co- <br />generation control system; replacement of plant switchgear; relocation of <br />temporary hot water pipeline; and replacement of the coating systems within <br />Digester No. 2, <br />Civil/Mechanical Inspector, 930 Zone Recycled Water Pipeline; Chino <br />and Chino Hills, CA; Inland Empire Utilities Agency (Completion: Fall <br />2014; Value: $12.6 million) —Mr. Brunenieks provided field inspection <br />services for the construction of 12,536 linear feet of 30-inch recycled water <br />pipeline via open cut and trenchless methods and a new above -grade <br />pressure reducing station. The project connects the existing 30-inch pipeline <br />in Eucalyptus Avenue west of Peyton Drive with the existing 20-inch pipeline <br />in Chino Hills Parkway just west of Monte Vista. Work includes excavation in <br />City of Chino and Chino Hills streets, City of Chino Hills property, Caltrans <br />right-of-way, SBCFCD right-of-way, and Army Corps of Engineers right-of- <br />way; pipe bedding preparation; pipe installation; pipe appurtenance and <br />lateral installation; backfill; saw -cutting of pavement; pavement removal, <br />disposal, and replacement including grinding, base course, and surface <br />course installation; sidewalk, curb and gutter replacement; traffic control; <br />installation of corrosion test stations; irrigation and landscaping at Inland Hills <br />Church; and removal and installation of new fencing along flood control <br />channels. Work also includes street rehabilitation of the north half of <br />Eucalyptus Avenue from Bluebell Drive to Pipeline Avenue. <br />GWR System Unit 1 Pipeline; Fountain Valley to Santa Ana, CA (Orange <br />County Water District) —Performed as Chief Inspector for 5.5 miles of 78- <br />inch and 54-inch CML&C pipeline for this project. This project involved <br />installation of approximately 31,000 LF of 78-inch, 72-inch, and 66-inch <br />diameter cement mortar lined and coated (CML&C) steel pipe with each joint <br />field -welded. The project also included installation of approximately 900 feet <br />of 54-inch parallel Santa Ana River Discharge pipeline from the Advanced <br />
