He has a verifiable track record for the <br />successful completion of projects through planning, organizing, and <br />managing overall daily operations. He has the ability to identify, isolate, and <br />eliminate work hazards. <br />Mr. Alonso has over 20 years of experience as a Foreman Supervisor in <br />which he has been responsible for hiring, scheduling, and supervising labor <br />and developing and enforcing company policies, procedures, and project <br />safety regulations. Other areas of expertise include heavy equipment <br />operation and the construction of pressure reducing stations, rate of flow <br />valves, and pump stations. <br />Relevant Experience / Work History <br />Field Inspector, Claude "Bud" Lewis Carlsbad Desalination Plant β€” <br />Intake Modifications Project; Carlsbad, CA; Poseidon Water (Duration: <br />08I2019 β€” 0912020; Value: $18.4 million) β€”The Project included the design <br />and construction of Phase 1 of a new pumping station to provide source <br />water to the existing Seawater Desalination Plant. Phase I utilizes existing <br />NRG facilities to provide source water supply to the Plant, including the <br />following: new brine dilution pumps and discharge piping; intake structure <br />modifications to accommodate pump station wet -well; extension of the <br />existing 63-inch HDPE brine line; modifications to the existing Generation <br />Station forebay including the replacement of existing Generation Station <br />screen backwash pumps and discharge piping; electrical building and <br />equipment; modifications to Generation Station's stormwater and <br />groundwater infiltration modifications; and tie-in to the 12 kV service. <br />Field Inspector, Santa Ana River Enhanced Recharge Phase 1A <br />Sedimentation Basin and Pipeline; Highland, CA; San Bernardino Valley <br />Municipal Water District (Completion: 11/2018; Value: $14.4 million) β€” <br />The project site is located adjacent to the southern flank of the San <br />Bernardino Mountains on the western side of a relatively large alluvial fan <br />complex associated with the Santa Ana River. It is also located '/z mile <br />downstream from the Seven Oaks Dam, which is an earth -fill dam designed <br />for flood control. A new diversion structure and inlet channel was constructed <br />to divert water to the new sedimentation basin and the Water Conservation <br />District Canal. The new sedimentation basin removes fine sand prior to <br />delivery to Valley District or Metropolitan facilities. It is 200-foot wide and 600- <br />foot long and 10 feet deep. The new pipeline consists of 1,900 linear feet of <br />96-inch diameter CMLC welded steel pipe and 1,300 linear feet of 78-inch <br />diameter CMLC welded steel pipe connecting the new sedimentation basin <br />and the existing 78-inch diameter SBVMWD Foothill Pipeline. <br />
