The project included performing <br />soils removal and recompaction, excavation, stabilization, and placement of <br />fill within the project site. Grading work included the finishing of undercuts of <br />streets and parkway grading, erosion and sediment control, installations of <br />basins, storm drain, and drainage structures, construction of channels and <br />swales and protection -in -place and/or demolition of IRWD facilities. <br />Document Control Specialist; Moffett Drive and Park Avenue Roadway <br />Extension Project; City of Tustin, Public Works (Completion: 2016; <br />Value: $14.5 million) —The project included the removal and compaction of <br />approximately 250,000 CY of removal and compaction of soil; 275,000 SF of <br />subgrade preparation and street fine grading; and 4,000 LF of reinforced <br />concrete box storm drain. The project also included the construction of street <br />improvements, paving, utility installation, signing, traffic installation, <br />landscaping, and irrigation. Approximately 15,000 CY of concrete was used <br />to construct the reinforced concrete box storm drain, which included lateral <br />storm drains with catch basins. Major dewatering efforts and shoring under <br />the Jamboree Bridge at Moffett Drive presented significant challenges that <br />Butier coordinated with success. <br />Butler staff coordinated with several agencies, including the City of Tustin; <br />Irvine Ranch Water District for installation of reclaimed and domestic <br />waterlines; County of Orange; and Department of the Navy. The construction <br />of the project continues to provide service for the backbone of the Tustin <br />Legacy Project which is a 1,600-acre residential and commercial <br />development on the location of the retired Marine Corps Air Station. <br />Field Engineer / Document Controls, Edinger Avenue Well —Phase II <br />Equipping Project; City of Tustin, Public Works (Completion: 2016; <br />Value: $4,103,650)—Butier provided construction management and <br />inspection services for the Edinger Avenue Well - Phase II Equipping Project. <br />Construction of the building and equipping of the pump included installation of <br />a 225 LF of 12-inch diameter CML ductile iron pipe discharge water line; <br />connection to 12-inch ductile iron watermain; installation of 162 LF of 18-inch <br />diameter C-905 drain line; connection to the existing storm drain; placement <br />of new onsite sewer manhole; installation of 76 LF of 8-inch diameter SDR 26 <br />sewer lateral; and connection to existing OCSD sewer manhole. The scope of <br />work also included the erection of 2,376 SF of CMU block wall with a metal <br />roof building to enclose the well pump, electrical equipment and chlorine <br />
