HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. 2020-12, HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2020-11, AND HISTORIC PROPERTY <br />PRESERVATION AGREEMENT NO. 2020-15 - Pedro Gomez, Case Planner <br /> <br />LOCATION: 2109 North Rosewood Avenue (historically known as the D.K. Thomas House) <br />located in the Single Family Residential (R-1) zoning district. <br /> <br />REQUEST: The applicant is requesting approval of a historic resources commission application, <br />historic register categorization, and historic property preservation agreement to allow the placement <br />and categorization in the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties as Contributive for the above- <br />mentioned property and to execute a historic property preservation agreement with the City of Santa <br />Ana. <br /> <br />Case Planner Gomez provided a staff presentation. <br /> <br />Recording Secretary reported that no written communication was received. <br /> <br />Chair Christy opened the Public Hearing. The applicant spoke in support of the matter. <br />There were no other speakers and the Public Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />a) Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2020-12 <br />and Historic Register Categorization No. 2020-11; and <br /> <br />b) Recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council <br />to execute the attached Mills Act agreement with Richard S.
