It is <br />the <br />to <br />Refined intersection geometry allows for <br />emergency vehicles to make right turns without the <br />need to encroach into oncoming vehicle lanes, <br />improving response times. To control the speed of <br />turning passenger vehicles, mountable islands <br />could be placed to tighten the curb radius. <br />Concept drawings would have required <br />split -phasing due to left turn conflicts.
