KTUA KEY PERSONNEL ( Jacob Leon I Project Planner I Outreach Facilitator <br />Jacob is responsible for network and facility design, public outreach, technical drafting and <br />3D modeling. He is an integral member of KTUA's tactical urbanism team, raising public <br />awareness of the benefits of thoughtful urban design, safe pedestrian and bicycle accessi- <br />bility, and green infrastructure. His strong background in 3D modeling and graphic design <br />allows him to produce effective digital and print media to communicate design concepts. <br />His mobility planning projects include active transportation plans, complete streets plans, <br />and bicycle and pedestrian master plans.These projects entail network and facility design, <br />public outreach, technical drafting and 3D modeling. <br />City of Santa Ana Complete Streets Plan <br />Assisted the project team in branding the project by creating fun, attractive and unique <br />logos and support graphics for flyers, postcards, and digital media. Assisted the team <br />with all community outreach coordination, workshop support and Spanish translation. <br />Assisted in developing pilot projects with a Complete Streets approach which empha- <br />sizes safe access for pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders of all ages and abil- <br />ities. 3D models and support graphics were created to help communicate the designs. <br />Assisted in developing a project film that showcases the project process from the initial <br />three-day workshop to the development of the top ten pilot projects. <br />City of Grand Terrace Barton Road Thematic Streetscape Plan <br />Assistant project manager responsible for developing the community engagement pro- <br />cess, thematic conceptual designs, and 3D modeling exhibits. Responsible for day-to-day <br />communication with the City, scheduling community engagement events, and provid- <br />ing Spanish interpretation at those events. Jacob will assist with the development of a <br />Green Street Toolbox that will support the City's vision for a more sustainable future. <br />City of Vista Emerald Drive and Townsite Complete Streets <br />Senior planner/outreach facilitator. Assisted with the development of complete street <br />and traffic calming concepts to improve multi -modal access throughout the project <br />corridors. Assisted in planning necessary exhibits for community workshops as well as <br />attended all community workshops. Provided Spanish interpretation and translation. <br />City of Atascadero El Camino Real Downtown Traffic Calming and Corridor Plan <br />Senior planner/outreach facilitator. Assisted with the development of complete street, <br />traffic calming, and placemaking concepts to improve multi -modal access throughout <br />the project corridor. Assisted in planning necessary exhibits for community workshops. <br />City of National City SMART Foundation <br />Assisted the project manager in the preparation of documents needed for city-wide walk <br />audits and community workshops such as maps, posters, and surveys. Spanish transla- <br />tion and assistance for all written products and during workshops was also provided. <br />All information gathered was transferred to CIS for future analysis. Helped develop pilot <br />projects throughout the study area with an emphasis on art and with a Complete Streets <br />approach which emphasizes safe access for pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit <br />riders of all ages and abilities. 3D models and graphics were created to help communi- <br />cate the designs. <br />City of San Diego City Heights Urban Greening Plan <br />Assisted the project manager in developing materials for community workshops <br />such as charts, maps, and surveys. Data from community surveys was digitized and <br />transferred to CIS for future analysis. Spanish translation and assistance for all written <br />products and during workshops was also provided.
