CNA CNA PARAMOUNT <br />First Party Glossary of Defined Terms <br />Research and Development Project Property <br />Research and development project property means the Named Insured's: <br />A. written, printed, electronic or inscribed documents, plans, records, formulas or other information, including any <br />material upon which it is inscribed, printed, written or recorded; <br />B. original or experimental property; <br />C. existing prototypes used as the model for the final version of a new product or design; or <br />D. undamaged property that needs to be recreated, restored or replaced due to covered loss of or damage to <br />property in Paragraphs A., B. or C., <br />developed or used in conjunction with any ongoing and active research and development project. <br />Research and development project property does not include research animals, media, plants or crops or fine <br />arts. <br />Robbery <br />Robbery means the unlawful taking of specified property from the care and custody of any person by one who has: <br />A. caused or threatened to cause that person bodily harm; or <br />B. committed an unlawful act witnessed by that person. <br />Safe Burglary <br />Safe burglary means the unlawful taking of: <br />A. property from within a locked safe or vault by a person unlawfully entering the safe or vault as evidenced by <br />marks of forcible entry upon its exterior; or <br />B. a safe or vault from inside the premises. <br />Securities <br />Securities means negotiable and non-negotiable instruments or contracts representing either money or representing <br />other tangible property that has intrinsic value, including: <br />A. tokens, tickets, revenue and other stamps (whether represented by actual stamps or unused value in a meter) in <br />current use; or <br />B. evidences of debt issued in connection with credit, debit or charge cards, which cards are not issued by the <br />Named Insured. <br />Securities does not include money. <br />Sinkhole Collapse <br />Sinkhole collapse means the sudden sinking or collapse of land into underground empty spaces created by the <br />action of water on limestone or dolomite provided such cavities were not man made or did not result from flood. <br />Specified Peril <br />Specified peril means: <br />A. aircraft or vehicles; <br />B. explosion, fire or leakage from fire extinguishing equipment; <br />C. lightning, smoke, volcanic eruption, water damage, weight of snow, ice or sleet; <br />CNA62641XX 10-15 <br />Copyright CNA All Rights Reserved. <br />HORaN RiskMmRgzmerdDivisian <br />REVIEWED & APPROVED BY.- <br />o z <br />Risk Management Analyst <br />
