CNA CNA PARAMOUNT <br />First Party Glossary of Defined Terms <br />D. windstorm or hail; <br />E. riot, civil commotion or vandalism or theft; <br />F. falling objects, excluding loss or damage to: <br />1. personal property in the open; or <br />2. the interior of a building, or property inside a building, unless the roof or an outside wall of the building is <br />first damaged by a falling object; <br />G. sinkhole collapse; <br />H. solely with respect to personal property in the course of transit, specified peril also includes: <br />1. vehicle collision upset or overturn; or <br />2. sinking or stranding of a vessel, or collapse of a bridge, culvert, dock or wharf; or <br />I. equipment breakdown peril, excluding loss of or damage to insured property caused by the discharge, <br />dispersal, release or escape of refrigerants, including ammonia. <br />Stock <br />Stock means raw stock, goods in process, finished stock or merchandise, including packing or shipping materials <br />and including software incorporated into such finished stock or merchandise. <br />Sublease Profit <br />Sublease profit means the net profit the Named Insured earns through subleasing the building or portion of the <br />building that the Named Insured rents for the unexpired term of the cancelled lease or sublease, whichever would <br />expire first. This amount is discounted based on the Prime Rate on the date the direct physical loss or damage <br />occurs, rounded to the nearest whole number. <br />Suspended Equipment <br />Suspended equipment means covered equipment, provided the Insurer has complied with the requirements <br />described in the SUSPENDED EQUIPMENT Condition in the First Party Terms and Conditions. <br />N <br />O <br />0 <br />Suspension <br />N <br />O <br />Suspension means: <br />N <br />O <br />A. the slowdown or cessation of the Named Insured's business activities; or <br />B. that a part or all of the covered premises is rendered untenantable. <br />System Penetration <br />System penetration means the intentional and malicious use of a computer to obtain unauthorized access to <br />information and resources stored on electronic data processing equipment. <br />Tenant's Improvements and Betterments <br />Tenant's improvements and betterments means fixtures, glass, signs, alterations, installations or additions: <br />A. made a part of a building the Named Insured occupies as a tenant but does not own; <br />B. made or acquired at the Named Insured's expense exclusive of rent paid by the Named Insured or for which the <br />Named Insured is legally required by written contract to insure; and <br />C. that the Named Insured cannot legally remove. <br />CNA62641XX 10-15 <br />Copyright CNA All Rights Reserved. <br />a r N Risk MmRgmertt DiAsian <br />3 REVIEWED & APPROVED BY.- <br />-E� Risk Management Analyst <br />
