CNA CNA PARAMOUNT <br />Business Property Coverage Part <br />caused by action of civil authority that prohibits access to the location or reported unspecified location. <br />Such action must result from a civil authority's response to direct physical loss of or damage to property <br />located away from a location or reported unspecified location. That lost or damaged property must be <br />within five miles of that location or reported unspecified location which sustains a business income <br />or research and development business income loss or where extra expense is incurred. The loss or <br />damage must be directly caused by a covered peril. <br />b. The amount the Insurer will pay for all loss or expense under this Civil Authority Coverage is included <br />within the applicable time element coverage Limit of Insurance. <br />c. However, to the extent the covered Civil Authority Coverage loss or expense is caused by or resulting <br />from: <br />i. flood, the amount payable under this Civil Authority Coverage is included within, and not in <br />addition to, the applicable Flood Limit of Insurance. <br />ii. earthquake, the amount payable under this Civil Authority Coverage is included within, and not in <br />addition to, the applicable Earthquake Limit of Insurance. <br />2. Ingress/Egress <br />a. The Insurer will pay, as provided, for: <br />L the actual loss of business income the Named Insured sustains during the period of restoration <br />due to the necessary suspension or delay of operations; <br />ii. the actual loss of research and development business income the Named Insured sustains <br />during the period of restoration due to the necessary suspension or delay of the research and <br />development projects; and <br />iii. extra expense, <br />when ingress or egress by the Named Insured's suppliers, customers or employees to or from the <br />location or reported unspecified location is physically obstructed due to direct physical loss or <br />damage. The actual loss of business income or research and development business income <br />sustained, or extra expense incurred, by the Named Insured must be caused by direct physical loss of <br />or damage to property not owned, occupied, leased or rented by the Named Insured or insured under <br />this Business Property Coverage Part. That property must be located within five miles of such location <br />or reported unspecified location. The obstruction cannot be the result of an action of civil authority that <br />prohibits access to that location or reported unspecified location. The loss or damage must be directly <br />caused by a covered peril. <br />b. The most the Insurer will pay for all loss or expense under this Ingress/Egress Coverage at any one <br />location or reported unspecified location for any one occurrence is the Ingress/ Egress Coverage <br />Limit of Insurance. <br />c. However, to the extent the covered Ingress/Egress Coverage loss or expense is caused by or resulting <br />from: <br />i. flood, the amount payable under this Ingress/Egress Coverage is included within, and not in <br />addition to, the applicable Flood Limit of Insurance. <br />ii. earthquake, the amount payable under this Ingress/Egress Coverage is included within, and not in <br />addition to, the applicable Earthquake Limit of Insurance. <br />E.
