CNA CNA PARAMOUNT <br />Business Property Coverage Part <br />2. Vegetated Roofs <br />The Insurer will not pay for loss of or damage to trees, shrubs, plants, grass, lawns or other landscaping <br />materials which are part of a vegetated roof caused by or resulting from: <br />a. dampness or dryness of atmosphere or soil supporting the vegetation; <br />b. changes in or extremes of temperature; <br />c. disease; or <br />d. frost, hail, rain, snow, ice or sleet. <br />D. Excluded Fees, Costs and Expenses <br />1. Excavation, Grading or Filling Costs <br />The Insurer will not pay fees, costs or expenses for: <br />a. excavations, grading, backfilling or filling, unless such cost is necessarily incurred to investigate, repair or <br />replace insured property below the surface of the ground; or <br />b. filling sinkholes. <br />2. Volcanic Eruption <br />The Insurer will not pay fees, costs or expenses to remove ash, dust or particulate matter, following a <br />volcanic eruption that does not cause loss of or damage to covered property. <br />VI. LIMITS OF INSURANCE / INDEMNITY PERIOD / DEDUCTIBLE / QUALIFYING PERIOD <br />A. Limits of Insurance <br />The Limits of Insurance applicable to each coverage agreement are shown in the Business Property Schedule <br />of Coverages and Limits or the Business Property Schedule of Locations. <br />B. Special Limits <br />The Limit of Insurance applicable for any one occurrence for loss or damage due to theft is $10,000 for: <br />1. furs, fur garments and garments trimmed with fur; <br />2. jewelry, watches, watch movements, jewels, pearls, precious and semi-precious stones; and <br />3. bullion, gold, silver, platinum and other precious alloys or metals. <br />This Limit is included within, and not in addition to, the applicable Personal Property Coverage Limit of <br />Insurance. <br />C. Maximum Period of Indemnity <br />If the Business Property Schedule of Locations displays a Maximum Period of Indemnity, the most the <br />Insurer will pay for loss of business income is the lesser of: <br />1. the amount of covered business income during the 120 consecutive days immediately following the <br />beginning of the period of restoration; or <br />2. the applicable Business Income Coverage Limit of Insurance shown in the Business Property Schedule of <br />Locations. <br />D.
