CNA <br />CNA Paramount Excess and Umbrella Liability <br />Policy Endorsement <br />CANCELLATION / NONRENEWAL ENDORSEMENT - GEORGIA <br />Wherever used in this endorsement: 1) Insurer means "we", "us", "our" or the "Company" as those terms may <br />be defined in the policy; and 2) first Named Insured means the person or entity first named on the declarations <br />page; and 3) "Insureds" means all persons or entities afforded coverage under the policy. <br />Any cancellation, non -renewal or termination provisions in the policy are deleted in their entirety and replaced <br />with the following: <br />CANCELLATION AND NON -RENEWAL <br />I. CANCELLATION, NON -RENEWAL AND CONDITIONAL RENEWAL <br />The first Named Insured may request cancellation of this Policy by: <br />A. Returning this Policy to the Insurer; or <br />B. Giving the Insurer or the Insurer's authorized agent advance notice of cancellation in one or more of the <br />following ways: <br />1. Orally; <br />2. Electronically; or <br />3. Mailing or delivering to the Insurer written notice <br />stating a future date on which the policy is to be canceled. Such cancellation will be accomplished in <br />the following manner: <br />1. If only the interest of the first Named Insured is affected, the policy shall be canceled effective on <br />the later of the date: 1) the policy is returned to the Insurer; 2) The Insurer receives notice from the <br />first Named Insured; or 3) specified in the notice; provided, however, that upon receipt of a notice <br />of cancellation from the first Named Insured, the Insurer may waive the future date requirement by <br />confirming the date and the time of cancellation to the first Named Insured. <br />2. If by statute, regulation, or contract the policy may not be canceled unless notice is given to a <br />governmental agency, mortgagee, or other third party, the Insurer will mail or deliver such notice <br />stating the date the cancellation will become effective, but such date will not be less than ten (10) <br />days from the date of mailing or delivery of the notice. <br />3. In the event of oral cancellation, the Insurer shall within 10 days provide the first Named Insured, <br />electronically or in writing, confirmation of such requested cancellation. <br />4. The Insurer may require that the first Named Insured provide written, electronic or other recorded <br />verification of the request for cancellation prior to such cancellation taking effect. <br />C. If the policy has been in effect for less than sixty (60) days and is not a renewal the Insurer may cancel <br />the policy for any reason by mailing or delivering written notice to the first Named Insured, at the last <br />mailing address known to the Insurer, at least ten (10) days before the effective date of cancellation. <br />D.
