Firm & Personnel Experience <br />FIRM INTRODUCTION <br />Architectural Resources Group (ARG) helps people realize <br />opportunities in the historic built environment. We navigate the <br />range of needs and issues for clients and their historic properties to <br />create great places, enhance investment, and enliven communities. <br />ARG was founded in 1980with the belief that historic buildings play <br />an important role in communities, creating places that have value <br />and meaning. ARG principals and staff members are nationally <br />recognized experts in rehabilitation and new construction and <br />bring extensive experience applying the Secretary of the Interior's <br />Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties to our projects. <br />The firm is composed of planners, historians, architects, and <br />conservators who meet the Secretary of the Interior's Professional <br />Qualifications Standards in multiple disciplines. <br />Our portfolio includes award -winning innovative solutions for <br />the adaptive reuse, seismic strengthening, stabilization, materials <br />conservation, documentation, and restoration of historic <br />properties, as well as the design of new structures in sensitive <br />environments. <br />Planting & History Croup Introduction <br />A core element of ARG's practice is preservation planning. ARG's <br />Planning & History Group comprises planners, historians, and <br />architects who meet the Secretary of the Interior's Professional <br />Qualifications Standards in multiple disciplines. The group has <br />varied interests and areas of specialization in the fields of history, <br />architectural history, historic preservation, cultural resource <br />management, cultural landscapes, city planning, architecture, <br />environmental compliance, and urban design. <br />This breadth of professional experience enables the group to <br />provide a diverse array of planning, research, and design services <br />to public and private clients.
