Description: <br />Attend training for Emergency Management staff, encourage professional development <br />through FEMA Independent Study programs, CSTI training and CESA educational <br />programs. Provide training and professional growth opportunities to EOC personnel. <br />Performance Measures: <br />Develop, conduct and participate in local and the Operational Area exercises. <br />Project #4 <br />Goal <br />Provide guidance and support for enhancing primary and alternate EOC to increase <br />operational readiness. <br />Objectives <br />Increase jurisdiction readiness by enhancing EOC and personnel. Develop staffing <br />plans as necessary for appropriate resources during major events and potential <br />incidents. Relevant activities include training and exercises to enable staff participants to <br />access functions of the EOC and ensuring all emergency facilities and personnel are <br />appropriately functional. <br />Description: <br />Provide SEMS/NIMS training and EOC section training to emergency personnel. <br />Provide on -going WebEOC training. Finalize implementation of an EOC Team to <br />facilitate efficient deployment of staff during emergencies and disasters. <br />Performance Measures: <br />Attend and participate in Orange County Emergency Management Organization <br />(OCEMO) and the Sub -Committees. Attend WebEOC training as appropriate. <br />Proiect #5 <br />Goal <br />Continue enhancing communications, capabilities and promote technical resources in <br />Emergency Management. <br />Objectives <br />Continue to integrate technical capabilities in all elements of Emergency Management <br />and enhance Internet/intranet and communications systems to support core technology <br />functions. <br />Description: <br />Promote coordination and collaboration with internal and external technical experts. <br />Performance Measures: <br />Participate in the Communications Subcommittee to assist with the expansion of the <br />City's communication system and participate in the WebEOC User Group to develop <br />user training and enhance the system for the end user and attend WebEOC training as <br />appropriate. <br />CFDA 97.042 <br />Emergency Management Performance Grant <br />Department of Homeland Security <br />
