<br />Students in this course will practice various administrative skills. Students
<br />learn about the clinical laboratory and the associated safety and regulatory
<br />guidelines. They explore basic microbiology and hematology and practice
<br />using a microscope. They learn the proper procedures for
<br />collecting, processing, and testing urine specimens. Students perform
<br />venipuncture and capillary puncture. They will practice keyboarding, apply
<br />positive communication skills, practice diagnostic procedures and perform
