AUTHORITY and each <br />as'the "PARTIES" and individually as <br />WHEREAS, AUTHORITY administers th6 Master Plan of Arterial Highways (hereinafter referred <br />to as "MPAH") ineldding the review and approval of amendments requested by local agencies; and <br />WHEREAS, the'CITY,of Santa Ana has prepared an update of their General Plan which includes <br />r <br />changes io their Circulation EElement to enhance bicycle and pedestrian facilities along arterial roadways <br />r <br />and changes to,their Land :Use Element for consistency with population and housing projections <br />developed by the,Soutliern California Association of Regional Government's Regional Transportation <br />Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategies (adopted May 7, 2020); and <br />WHEREAS, the CITY of Santa Ana's updates to the Circulation Element will require roadway <br />reconfigurations and/or reductions of existing or planned travel lanes to roadway segments on the MPAH; <br />and <br />1 <br />
