RFP NO. 20-124 <br />(7N'F JI"NI <br />Information Technology As -Needed Professional Services <br />Some examples where in InfoJini Inc. has taken steps to enhance the staff s qualification are: <br />1. One of the client contract manager needed our Project Manager to get Black Belt certification <br />to better serve them so we encouraged and paid for their exam and class material. <br />2. One of the client's Contract Manager needed all our employees on the project to have BCSI <br />membership. We facilitated and took care of the project team's membership. <br />xvi. Explanation of any effort the Proposer takes to ensure that the technology knowledge and <br />skills of its staff engaged with the City are maintained and refreshed during long term <br />engagements with the City <br />We provide internal and external management related training to all our professionals. In fact, we <br />differentiate ourselves from our peers by making significant training investments in our people. <br />We mandate 40 hours of training per year for our staff. Training costs are reimbursed internally <br />and not by our clients. Training is our primary means to (1) re -culture current staff, (2) <br />institutionalize our successful project approach, (3) train staff how to leverage Team assets, and <br />(4) grow our staff s knowledge base. Our team commitment to this training approach, and its <br />proven success, is evident in the following: <br />• Tuition and training reimbursement is provided up to $3,400 per year per employee and <br />participation is encouraged in professional associations and conferences <br />• Conduct 3 "boot camps" per year with 16 training sessions to bring our new staff members up <br />to speed with Team/Project specific processes, ISO, and PMI best practices <br />• Leadership development program, available to project staff with high potential <br />• Organizational Training Plan (OTP) based on the project, organizational, and individual <br />training needs. <br />Example: We encourage employees to be certified in their field of expertise. If requested by the <br />Project Manager/Client for any specialized training or certification, Infcjini Inc. would encourage <br />and facilitate the requested training or certification. Some examples where in Infcjini Inc. has taken <br />steps to enhance the staff s qualification are: <br />1. One of the client contract managers needed our Network Support Analyst to get CCNA and <br />CCNP certification to better serve them so we encouraged and paid for their exam and class <br />material. We also paid for their time while they were undergoing the training. <br />2. One of the client's Contract Manager needed all our employees on the project to have BCSI <br />membership. We facilitated and took care of the project team's membership. <br />xvii. Description of any programs and benefits provided by the Proposer to its personnel engaged <br />with the City that ensure their retention for the period required by the City <br />Infojini's turnover rate is 1% for 2019 and 2020 till August 2020. Our candidate engagement score <br />for the past year was 9.1 based on several engagement and net promoter surveys that we conduct <br />through SenseHQ. We communicate with our staff twice every month and when needed to <br />understand their progress towards the project goal, risk to the project and any issues that they may <br />have that can become a risk.
