April 28, 2021 <br />To Whom It May Concern: <br />This letter is provided as a letter of recommendation of Republic Services. Republic <br />Services has provided solid waste and recycling collection services for the City of Seal <br />Beach for more than two decades. With our long-standing partnership, the City continues <br />to be very satisfied with the Republic Services team's quality of services and <br />professionalism. <br />Republic Services' Municipal Relationship Manager Manuel J. Gouveia maintains a close <br />working relationship with City staff and promptly addresses the City Council and resident <br />concerns. Mr. Gouveia has been a constant presence in the City of Seal Beach, as a very <br />active and prominent Board Member on the Seal Beach Chamber of Commerce. <br />Republic Services has supported many City projects, events, and non-profit organizations <br />including working with our local elementary school where they donated materials and <br />monetary contributions to assist in recycling and zero waste endeavors. We have truly <br />grown to count on Republic Services for all our solid waste and recycling needs. Our <br />partnership with Republic Services has been extremely beneficial to our staff and especially <br />the Seal Beach community. <br />The City is confident that Republic Services will continue to comply with the provisions of <br />their contract and will provide the same level of attention to all your needs.
