Republic <br />Services has been the City's waste hauler for the past ten years. With our long-standing <br />partnership, the City continues to be very satisfied with the Republic Services team's <br />quality of services and professionalism. <br />Republic Services" Municipal Relationship Manager Manuel J. Giouveia maintains a close <br />working relationship, with City staff and promptly addresses City Counciil and resident <br />concerns, Mir. Gouveia has been, a constant presence in, the City of Los Alamitos that the <br />City's Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Commission nominated him on behalf of the <br />City of Los Alamitos to be a recipient of the California Parks and Recreation Society <br />(CPRS) District 10 Volunteer Merit Award in 2019. <br />Republic Services has monetarily contributes to City projects, Citywide events, and <br />community non-profiit organizations, as, well as, with in -kind services such as, disposable <br />wastebaskets and recycling containers to City -sponsored events. We have trolly grown to <br />count on Republic Services for all our solid waste and recycling needs. Our partnership <br />with Republic Services have fulfilled one, of ouir City's organizational values — service to <br />the, community., <br />The City is conifident that Republic Services will continue to comply with the provisions of <br />their contract and will provide the same level of attention to all your needs.
